We take projects from first conversation through planning support, transparent quoting (materials, labour and workshop time), manufacture in our Newcastle-under-Lyme workshop, and professional installation — or supply-only when that suits you better.
Every bespoke job starts with understanding how you use the space — not just dimensions. We listen to priorities (storage, appliances, budget bands, timelines), flag practical constraints early, and agree what information we need before we price.
Because we run full machining capability in-house — panel saw, edge bander, planer thicknesser, spindle moulder — your custom work sits on the same production rails as our trade panel services, with fewer hand-offs and clearer accountability.
Quotes are tailored to the job. Below are typical categories we separate so you can compare options or phase the work — final line items depend on your project.
Need components without installation? Our cut to size, cut & edge and planing services are priced for fast turnaround — ideal when you are fitting yourself or feeding another site team.
We can quote materials from our sheet range (Egger, Kronospan, Medite, Saviola and more) or work with boards and hardware you supply — whichever keeps your project on budget and on brand.
MDF, MFC and plywood in the thicknesses and finishes that match kitchens, wardrobes and furniture — aligned with our sheet materials offer.
Melamine and ABS edging through our edge banding line; profiles and mouldings via spindle moulder for skirting, architrave and custom details.
Hinges, runners and fittings scoped per project — specified early so lead times and costs are locked in before we build.
Installation labour is quoted on its own merits: room size, complexity, number of units, and whether we are working alongside electricians, plumbers or builders. We are used to coordinating on occupied homes and live sites — clear arrival windows and tidy handover matter as much as the fit.
Not every project needs our team on site. We regularly produce cut, edged and machined packs for your own install, or assembled carcasses for collection — priced from workshop time and materials only.
Tell us in the form how you want the quote structured (full supply and fit, labour only, or supply-only). That sets expectations before we write the first figure.
Batch-friendly production, clear CNC and panel tolerances, and quotes that separate materials from labour so you can reconcile with your own programme. We are comfortable working to your cut lists and meeting other trades on site.
No jargon-only answers: we explain options in plain language, help you prioritise if budget is tight, and set realistic dates. Photos and rough sketches are enough to start — we will tell you if we need a survey or more detail before we commit to numbers.
Joinery-led refits and installations — often alongside builders and other trades on larger jobs.
Tables, benches, one-off pieces and built-ins — made to your dimensions and style.
Alcoves, under-stairs, sloping ceilings — furniture that fits where off-the-shelf will not.
Cabinet runs, island units, panels and finishing joinery — coordinated with your appliances and worktops.
Bedroom and hallway storage, media walls and utility rooms — machined and installed to a high standard.
We itemise materials (boards, hardware, ironmongery where relevant), workshop time (cutting, edging, machining, assembly and finishing), installation labour, and delivery or collection — so you can see what you are paying for and adjust scope if needed.
Yes. Trade customers often bring boards or specify hardware; we quote machining and fitting only. If you prefer a single package, we can supply MDF, MFC and plywood from Egger, Kronospan, Medite and Saviola — the same stock we use across our cut-to-size and cut-and-edge services.
We support both. Homeowners get plain-language guidance on options and timelines; trade clients get fast responses, batch-friendly scheduling and coordination with other trades on site.
We discuss the room, access and your priorities, then agree what level of detail we need (dimensions, photos, plans). We prepare a written quote, refine scope if required, schedule workshop production and agree an installation window — with ongoing communication throughout.
Tell us about rooms, sizes, style and timeline. Choose how you would like the quote structured — we will respond with an honest view of scope, cost drivers and next steps.
